چکیده

در این مقاله مواد پیزوالکتریک و کاربردهای متنوع آنها در صنایع معرفی شده است. برای این منظور، نخست تاریخچة مختصری از پیدایش مواد پیزوالکتریک و تحولات آن طی جنگ‌های جهانی اول و دوم مطرح می‌شود. سپس نمونه‌های متنوعی از مواد پیزوالکتریک، اعم از مواد طبیعی و ترکیبی معرفی و کاربردهای هر یک به اجمال تشریح می‌شود. در ادامه، حسگرها، مبدل‌ها[i] و عملگرهای پیزوالکتریک[ii] معرفی و کاربردهای آنها در صنایع گوناگون تبیین می‌شود. در پایان، افق‌های فراروی این دسته از مواد پرکاربرد در دنیای فناورمحور امروز تشریح و فرصت‌های استفاده از این مواد به اجمال تشریح می‌گردد.
