مدلسازی فرایند جوشکاری اصطکاکی اغتشاشی پلی‌اتیلن با چگالی بالا و مقایسة آن با نتایج تجربی

چکیده

در این مقاله آثار سرعت خطی و دورانی ابزار جوشکاری اصطکاکی اغتشاشی بر توزیع و تولید حرارت در سطح و درون اتصال، سیلان مواد و هندسة محل اغتشاش یک قطعه‌کار پلیمری از جنس پلی‌اتیلن با چگالی بالا مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت. به‌منظور شبیه‌سازی فرایند از روش دینامیک سیالات محاسباتی از مجموعه نرم‌افزار تجاری سی. اف. دی. فلوئنت[i] استفاده شد. برای بالا بردن دقت شبیه‌سازی، خط جوش که در مرز بین قطعه‌کارها قرار داشت، به‌عنوان یک سیال غیرنیوتنی با رفتار شبه‌مذاب در اطراف پین ابزار مدلسازی شد. نتایج حاصل از شبیه‌سازی نشان داد که با افزایش نسبت سرعت چرخشی به سرعت خطی ابزار، جریان مواد در جلو ابزار اندکی بیشتر می‌شود و ابعاد منطقة اغتشاش بزرگتر می‌گردد. بیشینة درجه حرارت تولیدشده و اغتشاش مواد در سمت پیشرو اتصال مشاهده شد. نتایج حاصل از مدل توسط نتایج تجربی سایر محققان مورد مقایسه قرار گرفت و حداکثر 3 درصد اختلاف با نتایج عملی داشت. براساس پارامترهای جوشکاری مورد بررسی، نتایج حاصل از شبیه سازی حداکثر حرارت تولیدشده 126 درجة سانتی‌گراد، بیشینة سرعت جابه‌جایی مواد 6/0 متر بر ثانیه در شانة ابزار و بیشینة فشار ایجادشده روی سیال 10 مگاپاسکال در محل اتصال پیش‌بینی شد.
